Commissioned by Uncanny Valley for Gareth Paslis’ album In Her Reflection, released on cassette.

The artwork developed through conversations with Carl and Gareth, culminating in a meeting at my studio in Lichtenberg. The building, and its staircase in particular, carries an eerie atmosphere that echoed the sound of Gareth’s music.

I am a research-based photographer with an interest in exploring the relationship between objects, using photography as a tool to document and reflect. My projects often start with finding something by chance, whether it is a person, an object or a story. By frequenting archives, letter writing, and folder building, I am seeking and collecting connections to what surrounds me - most of it never quite mine to begin with, but stumbled upon, inherited, kept.
