I am a research-based photographer with an interest in exploring the relationship between objects, using photography as a tool to document and reflect. My projects often start with finding something by chance, whether it is a person, an object or a story. By frequenting archives, letter writing, and folder building, I am seeking and collecting connections to what surrounds me - most of it never quite mine to begin with, but stumbled upon, inherited, kept.

FOYOU, Berlin
This exhibition, in collaboration with Hannes Aurand, asks what meaning we give to the things we hold onto, and how long that meaning lasts. Things recently found were combined with things kept over time; old pictures positioned next to new ones. We both photograph Berlin and collect objects, but for different reasons. By responding to Hannes' archive of images and objects, the exhibition became a dialogue between our fascinations.
